The Lancaster Festival returns from July 24 through August 2, 2025 in downtown Lancaster, Ohio, transforming the city into a vibrant hub of performances, outdoor activities, and family-friendly fun  . Originating in 1984, this annual celebration has grown into one of Ohio’s premier summer festivals, drawing thousands of visitors each year  .

A Storied Tradition Since 1984

Since its inception, Lancaster Festival has fused classical music, contemporary performances, and interactive art to create a unique cultural experience. Under the guidance of Music Director John Devlin, the festival showcases the talents of the Lancaster Festival Orchestra alongside world-class guest artists. Whether you’re an art enthusiast, a music lover, or simply looking for a memorable summer outing, there’s something for everyone  .

2025 Headliners & Featured Performances

This year’s lineup boasts an impressive roster of headliners and special guests:

• Gary LeVox (of Rascal Flatts) performing with the Lancaster Festival Orchestra on July 26 at the Wendel Concert Stage  .

• Colbie Caillat, the Grammy-winning singer-songwriter, bringing her signature folk-pop vibes (dates TBA)  .

• Dawes, the acclaimed American folk-rock band, joining the festival for an electrifying evening under the stars  .

Beyond these marquee acts, enjoy a rich tapestry of concerts—from intimate Café Concerts (harp and strings at Cheers Chalet) to the grand Opening Night: Story, Songs and Symphony, featuring Brahms’ symphonic masterpieces and a brass fanfare kickoff  .
